Bishop Derrick F. Thomas and Pastor Kwajalein Thomas, natives of Albany, Georgia, serve  as Founders and Pastors of The Oasis at Faith Worship Center Church, in San Antonio, Texas. 

 

Known for his anointed and down-to Earth approach to sharing the Gospel of Christ, Bishop Thomas enjoys teaching the life-changing word of God, with simplicity.  Bishop Thomas travels locally, throughout the country and abroad. He lists one of his greatest accomplishments as being happily married to his wife, Kwajalein, for nearly 40 years, who he affectionately refers to as her as his “girlfriend.”  

 

After years of mentoring other pastors and demonstrating a father’s heart, he was consecrated into the office of bishop, in 2018.

 

Pastor Kwajalein, walks faithfully beside her husband, assisting him in all aspects of their personal, business and ministry assignments. She brings a spirit of excellence to help complete each aspect.  

 

Her passion rests in teaching, building and guiding women to fulfill and live out their God-given purpose, dreams and visions.  She regularly hosts, conferences, retreats, Ladies Night outings and workshops.  She is a certified professional Home and Office stager. 

 

They are the proud parents of three adult children and ten grandchildren.
